the Singles Edge our monthly gathering Friday, February 23 at 7:30 p.m.
We will enjoy some great worship, a light meal and a teaching from
God's word entitled "Conquering Worry". We will meet in the Multipurpose

Semi-Annual Regional Prayer And Praise Meeting

Dear Friend In Christ,

You are cordially invited to attend the next Metro Area Multi-Church Prayer And Praise Meeting on March 23rd, from 7:30-9 p.m. This semi-annual regional event will be held at Del Ray Baptist Church, 2405 Russell Road , Alexandria , Virginia , 22301 .

Please plan now to attend this special evening of united prayer and praise. Christians of diverse denominations and races, from around the region, are invited.

The service will include praise music, corporate prayer, and guest speaker Rev. Alan Keiran, Senate Chaplain Chief Of Staff. Nursery care will be provided for children ages 0 to 4.

Worship In The Glory

Tonight at COA is a special worship night. The Father's Blessing Service doesn't start up until March 2nd. This Friday is a special night for just praise and worship. No prayer ministry or teaching. No band. Just a single praise leader at the piano leading an extended time of worship. It starts @ 7:30 pm and may end @ 9ish.

Another post about a Super Bowl Party. This time, the message comes from CrossPoint, a Young Adult/Singles ministry of Cherrydale Baptist Church located in Arlington, VA.

Here are the details:

We start watching the big game at 6 pm

Madden tournament starts at 4 pm

Bring $5 for food (pizza and subs)

Testimony at half time by our own Joel Hill

Board games are happening at will

Trivia and prizes throughout the night

Date/Time: Sunday, February 4 / 5 p.m. (Game begins at 6 p.m.)
Location: Senior High Worship Center (Satellite Center)
Cost: $5 for Adults (children free)

If interested, you may bring a special chili dish for the chili contest.
Please bring your own serving utensils and arrive 15 minutes early.

Acts of Kindness Outreach Event: Saturday, February 10, 9 am - 12 noon.

Join us to express God's unconditional love as we go to the
Gaithersburg Lake Forest Mall and Germantown Ride-On bus stations and serve free
hot chocolate to all those who use public transportation. There will be
two separate teams, and we will meet at each location at 8:45 a.m. We
